Terms and conditions of booking for Diamond Lodge Hotel, Manchester, UK

  1. Settlements of accounts are requested on arrival unless credit facilities have been pre-arranged. Credit facilities are available on request and are subject to a satisfactory reference check. The hotel reserves the right to withhold or withdraw credit facilities at any time without notice; if payment is to be debited from a debit or credit card by a third party written authority will be required in advance by the card holder. Any further hotel costs incurred in our restaurant or bar may be charged to the room and settled on departure. For group bookings a valid debit or credit card number must be secured against each room (for full group bookings please see our Booking Terms for group Bookings.
  2. Guests who have approved credit facilities with the Diamond Lodge agree to pay all charges on the due dates; invoices are to be settled within 30 days of invoice. Failing this a 5% charge will be added for each full week of outstanding account.
  3. Whilst the hotel has taken reasonable steps to ensure that information contained within its brochures, tariffs, leaflets, web site and other advertisement materials is accurate, it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility or amenity without notice if necessary.
  4. Check in time is any time after 2.00pm (14:00). If guests arrive before, we can offer to hold luggage at the hotel. Check out time on the date of departure is 11.00am (11:00). If the room is not vacated by this time, the customer will be subject to another night's cost of room. Equally we offer the service to guests where we can hold luggage after 11.00am (11:00) until the end of the day on the date of departure.
  5. Any complaint regarding the hotel must be brought to the attention of the hotel team as early as possible during your stay and, if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be notified to the Manager at Diamond Lodge in writing. If the hotel is not informed about an issue during your stay no reimbursement can be offered at a later date.
  6. Personal information collected from you is used to fulfil your request for accommodation, to send you confirmation details and if necessary to inform you of updates or changes to your booking. We do not pass your information on to third parties. You will not be contacted about any promotional offers or telephone sales.
  7. The Client is responsible for the behavior of his/her or its guests at the Diamond Lodge and in particular for the orderly conduct of guests staying in the Diamond Lodge. The Client must ensure that no noise or nuisance is caused either for the Diamond Lodge or its other guests. Violation of the following terms will lead to instant termination of your booking and the guest/s will be asked to leave the premises with no refund given:
    1. Causing a disturbance for other guests
    2. Abusive language to staff and guests of the Lodge
    3. Damage to hotel property
    4. Not adhering to the hotel policies as in place
  8. All rooms must be secured with a valid debit or credit card number. If a third party secures the booking with a valid debit or credit card number then the third party acts as guarantor for the booking where the following charges will apply. Your card will only be charged if you breach the following terms:
    1. Costs incurred compensating other rooms for disturbance caused by you, or your party.
    2. Leave with an outstanding account (The full amount outstanding will be taken)
    3. Damage to hotel property (cost taken as severity of damage)
    4. Any person smoking in a bedroom or public area will incur a £50 standard charge
    5. Loss of Key £20.00 standard charge.
  9. Notification of the above will be sent to you in writing either by email or post, All costs applied are non-negotiable and non-refundable
  10. Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
  11. For independent bookings if you cancel a guaranteed room after 2.00pm (14:00) on the arrival date, you will be charged for one night's accommodation per room booked. For group bookings we will require 48 hours notice or the same charges as before apply.
  12. Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 6.30am (06:30) and 10am (10:00). We offer a free full English breakfast to all guests of Diamond Lodge.
  13. Diamond Lodge accepts payment by cash, credit card (VISA, Master Card, Delta and Switch). We do not accept cheques, Diners Club, American Express or travellers cheques.
  14. Whilst every measure is taken to ensure safety for guests' vehicles parked in the car park, the hotel can not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles parked on our premises.
  15. Group bookings for 10 rooms or more are only valid with a 50% deposit which is non-refundable. You will also be required to give a valid debit or credit card number that will be charged if clause 8 above is violated, for Our full terms of group bookings please see our Booking Terms for group bookings.
